Eighth Hour - Shipping Policy (India)

Applicable to: Orders shipped within India

1. Order Processing & Dispatch Timeline

  • All India orders are made-to-order and are typically dispatched within 14 working days from the date of order confirmation.
  • Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Indian public holidays.
  • During festive seasons, sale periods, or unforeseen circumstances, dispatch timelines may be extended. Customers will be informed in case of significant delays.

2. Shipping Partner

All orders within India are shipped via delivery partner like Blue Dart or any other delivery partner that Eighth Hour may engage from time to time.

3. Shipping Costs (India)

  • Shipping is free for all orders shipped within India.
  • No additional delivery or handling charges are applied to domestic shipments.

Delivery timelines are estimates calculated after dispatch and may vary due to courier capacity, weather conditions, regional restrictions, and serviceability of the destination PIN code. The shipping partner’s delivery performance is subject to operational feasibility.

5. Taxes & Pricing (India Orders)

  • All product prices displayed on the India website are exclusive of GST.
  • Applicable GST will be calculated and added at checkout based on the delivery address.
  • GST will be shown as a separate line item at checkout and on the final tax invoice.
  • No customs duties apply for shipments delivered within India.

6. Order Tracking

  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking information from the respective shipping partner.
  • Tracking typically becomes active within 24 hours of dispatch.
  • Orders can be tracked on the respective shipping partner’s website.

7. Address Accuracy & Delivery Attempts

  • Customers must provide a complete and accurate Indian shipping address, including PIN code and a reachable contact number.
  • The delivery partner will attempt delivery as per its delivery policies.
  • If delivery fails due to incorrect address details or customer unavailability, re-shipment costs (if applicable) will be borne by the customer.

8. Delays, Lost or Damaged Shipments

Delays

Delays caused by weather conditions, regional disruptions, or operational constraints are outside Eighth Hour’s control and do not qualify for refunds.

Lost Shipments

If your order is not delivered within 10 business days after dispatch, please contact us at contact@eighth-hour.com with your order number. We will initiate an investigation with the delivery partner.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the outer packaging and damaged items.

9. Returns & Domestic Shipping

  • Return shipping within India will be handled as per our Returns & Refunds Policy.
  • In case of manufacturing defects or incorrect items shipped, Eighth Hour will arrange reverse pick up where applicable.
  • For returns initiated due to change of mind or sizing issues, return shipping may be borne by the customer.

10. Serviceability Limitations

Delivery is subject to the delivery partner’s serviceability for the provided PIN code. Certain remote or restricted locations may experience longer delivery timelines or limited delivery attempts.
